Ah Ok. I was going to say if you had a bit longer, you might find another dress that's "the one". Up until July of this year, I was determined to get a Mori Lee or Alfred Angelo dress (one of the ones with colour on the back). Then I went to a sample sale and tried on every dress in my size. I fell in love with a completely different dress.Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0

I paid £199 for my Maggie dress on ebay, it was an ex sample and was in immaculate condition.
There isn't just "the" dress for you, there will be loads. There are so many maggie dresses and loads of them end up on ebay for well within your budget. You now know what sort of style works on you and you know your maggie sizing so keep looking at ebay and look for similar models. The designers aren't stupid, they change the names of the dresses each year but you'll find something very similar from previous years I'm sure.
I started out looking for a current model and then found mine (Paulette) on ebay and decided it was similar enough. It looked fab and once I'd used it, I passed it to a girl at work who was having a very budget wedding and she looked stunning in it as well.
Seriously, don't fall for the marketing of "the" dress, there will be any number of dresses you will look stunning in, don't make yourself unhappy about this.

The lady that was selling it, started a thread on here asking 'why wont my dress sell?' so i had a nose and it was the dress i wanted!
She wasnt advertising it, just asking us to have a look at her listing to see if we could find anything wrong with it.0 -

Another tip - have a look on Oxfam website. They have got a few Maggie's, so may be worth keeping an eye on just in case...0
