the op's mum is fit enough to work, she is just worried that she will lose a benefit if she did, if she earns a pound she should pay a pound back

As you have little to no facts on the personal issues that we are struggling to deal with I am going to completely disregard your misguided and rude condemnation.
I was completely stumped so simply wanted advice and support - why are you on this site - to pass judgement?
Can I reiterate that she is receiveng NO MONEY from these people, they have simply offered, and as government rules have changed and she cannot get state pension until she is 63 it would help her financially.
Oh and one last point - working 35 years and dealing with illness in an 8-6 setting is VERY different from sitting at your kitchen table in the safety of your own house for half hour a week helping a little boy to read!0 -
