Broadband filtersand Telephone socket doublers

I am on Broadband and have filters on both my telephone sockets. I intend to install Sky, so will need a line to the digibox. Rather than have a new point put in I am considering a socket doubler. If I do this, will I need an additional filter?

Not if the socket doubler is plugged into the filter.

You shouldn't do - I've got the same thing going on at my house

    - Sky line and phone line plug into sockets on doubler
    - Other end of doubler (single connector) plugs into the 'phone' socket on the filter
    - Other end of filter (single connector) plugs into wall

    Should work fine
