She may have other costs though like accommodation, books and general living expenses.0 -
We live near the university she will probably go to-in İzmir(Turkey's 3rd city). My wife has deep reservations about letting her baby go to the only other viable city with good universities--İstanbul. İt is a very dangerous city and my wife wasnt permitted to go there by her father!
Kids in Turkey tend to do as their parents command and truth be told actually want to stay close to home (and comforts)-it did my wife no harm and she got 2 first class degrees from the local uni. There is a strange phenomina where mothers move to live with their siblings during their exile at uni if they have to leave the home city or town.--fathers accept it and pay the bill!!mfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.0
