I'm just wondering, sorry if this has been wondered before, but why is it cheaper for me to keep a named driver on my policy,who has endorsments,than take them off?

No straightforward answer. But you can do some virtual quotes online with and without the named driver and see what difference it makes to the premiums.
If it's cheaper to keep them on, then the points on their licence aren't negating them as good drivers.0
