    Hi Everyone!

I am looking for a board game for DD (4) for christmas and I can't find one!

I have a DS (8) so they both play together nicely with these.

If they enjoy competing against each other how about trying a co-operative game where they have to work together to complete the game.

Something like one of these maybe?

    Yahtzee
Rapidough - team game, bit like charades except you have to make the words with playdough rather than act the word out. Box says from 8 yrs up.

Was going to ask this exact question! Am not sure about junior scrabble as I think that might be too old for her, so wait for others to reply.

In the meantime we have junior monopoly - DD 4 loves it, and so do the grandparents!!!

Mummymoo - just dug out the Junior scrabble and played for the first time tonight with DD - she loved it and WON :D great game for developing letter recognition etc. We have the disney version so may ask for the standard one if people are struggling for gift ideas for her. As I think it may get quite repetative.

Thanks for all the suggestions think I am going to go with good old fashioned snakes and ladders and maybe UNO

Also like the look of the co-operation games - will look at these further.

Thanks guys! Christmas very nearly sorted:beer:

we had the first wightopoly lou , it was awful( although it did come out about 15 yrs ago). hope the new one is better, i love monopoly. very bad at it tho,lol

rapidough is excellent. good for kids. but when your slightly tipsey and playing it with a group of mates it is hillerous.

my kids love playing topsey turtle. his voice does get a bit frustration. but my son who is 2.5 started playing this about 18m, learn his colours really fast using it. my 5 yr old tho, gets very sneaky with it.but for diff age children it is a good game.
