Don't seem to be getting weekly email?

I have been signed up to the site and receiving email weekly for well over a year but it seems to have stopped? Recently got a new computer and I think it stopped then.

Tried signing up again but it says Im already signed up.

How do I get my weekly fix again?

  • Hey Kantankrus,

If it says that you are signed up then it is likely that your weekly email is going to a spam folder or junk filter set up on you new machine - have you changed email clients since moving your computer (email client = outlook, outlook express, thunderbird?). Make sure that you do a check and add MartinsMoneyTips@moneysavingexpert.com to any "Safe Sender" lists you may have

I'm on aol and sometimes mine is a bit here and there. Mine ain't going to spam tho, cos I check that regularly.

Are you by chance getting attacked with sex spam. I suddenly am and have no idea where the hell it is coming from!! I have a broad mind but some is downright perverted filth involving fathers and daughters in the titles.

I don't open them, but have had to password my account as DS can get in it and I would absolutely hate him to accidently open that crap!!

I have a feeling it may be a result of upsetting someone tho as I am very careful with what I click!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one, Bethom. Suddenly I'm getting about 20 a day and don't understand why.
Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is the truth.
  • ooooerrrrr seems Im missing out on this ghastly junk mail!! Just as well by the sounds of it.

Looked in my spam file or whatever it is and lo and behold thats where my weekly god I mean MSE newsletter was though Im not sure how to unblock it. Will look into it after my little jaunt to Ragdale Hall :D

  • Hello All,

Can I just clear up confusion incase anyone misreads this thread. The spam that flyer and bethom have been getting are of no way related to us. We will NEVER give out our email list to any company and will never send unsolicited mail. Hopefully they will get their spam issue sorted, i imagine its a whole new form of spam that aol havent learnt how to filter yet.

Kantankrus Mare glad to hear your mail was there and if you are struggling to fix it perhaps its worth posting over in the techie board where i'm sure they would help out.

    Thanks
    MSE Neil

Hey Beth and flyer im getting exactly the same thing with this type of spam, as MSE Neil said its nothing to do with this site though :) Im on BT broadband and i have been getting masses of this type of spam, i have had to set up message rules to move this type of spam into the deleted bin but im having a bit of a terrible time cos they are misspeling alot of the words so everytime i see a new misspelt i have to add it to my message rule. Wonder if anyone else has had this prob
