Can I link to a picture?

I have an item for sale on ebay. When I upload the picture of the product to ebay its quality is significantly reduced. I have some webspace and thought that I could use it to show the picture in its original format.
Am I able to do this, or will ebay think that I am trying to avoid their gallery fees?
Cheers.

That's absolutely fine by eBay.
I always host my own pictures by inserting the relevant html in the listing. Saves on listing fees too, if you've got several.0 -
Thanks HHM. Hopefully it will increase sales by doing this.0
