advice PLEASE

Hi there I am facing a medical board in 3 weeks time (medical discharge from the royal navy) and found out on friday that i am more than likely going to be discharged from service. (news i was not expecting until friday)
I have since dug out my life insurance policy which i thought covered me in the event of loosing my job so i could still maintain my payments etc for debts and other outgoings. I rang them today to see how i would go about claiming if i was idscharged from service (the whole reason i took out the policy after an injury) to be informed that it does not cover me for job loss it will only cover me for sickness and unemployment this is not what i was lead to believe at the time of taking out the policy i am currently awaiting a call from them as i have raised a complaint about miselling the policy to me!!!
another problem i have is that my 2 loans do not have any ppi cover on them and now this policy won't pay out what am i to do????

its stressfull enough that i have just found out my 12 year career is over and also any possiblity of continuing my trade in civvy street :( that and also loosing my home as i am a single mum in married quarters i really am at a loss what to do next in a major panic

thankyou in advance for your responses and any advice is gratefully recieved.
please no negativity i dont think i could take it
