Pinnacle Dazzle/Pinnacle Dazzle Video Creator Platinum

My son would like me to order the Pinnacle Dazzle DVD Recorder from Amazon but I was wondering whether the Pinnacle Dazzle Video Creator Platinum is the same thing but with more gizmo's on it.
I have no idea what they do but he has not stopped pestering me to purchase on his behalf.

Your best bet would be to look on Pinnacle's website, and possibly ask on their own forum.

As far as I can tell, you get a slightly different USB capture device, plus Pinnacle Studio instead of just the less functional recorder software - so essentially yes to your question, except that the hardware is not quite the same.

Thank you, I didn't realise that they had a forum. He wants it for something to do with his PS3 (I think) so would it be best to buy the more expensive one?
