Large adjustable bed mattress

I have just got myself a 200x200 (6.6 square) bedstead. Both sides are independently adjustable.
Many questions
I do not mind not being able to use the adjustability, it was just size I was after, so do I go for one special-made mattress or two singles?
If two singles how can I make sure they feel like one bed without a hole in the middle?
I did not like tempur-like mattresses when shopping for new bed earlier in the year. Prefer springs - the Millbrook (vista?) pocket sprung was lovely.
What do I need to look for?
Thanks.

If you do intend to use the adjustment at all then go for two singles. There will obviously be a join between them though.
Don't just go for any pocket sprung mattress, as they have to be specially designed to be able to bend. THose that aren't designed to bend could easily be damaged.
Also check the length of the mattresses before ordering, as some adjustable beds come in different lengths to standard sizes.0
