Just wanted to warn you not to rush to buy the "new, preview items for spring 2011"
I have just ordered a dressing table and stool and tried to order a curtain pole from this new catalogue. Tried to order it online but the curtain pole would not reduce in price so rang up instead. The girl could not get the items to reduce by 15% so wanted me to pay the extra money, wait until they were ordered and then claim the money back to which I not so politely declined.
I then suggested she take the pole off as I suspected that this might be in the current catalogue and may be the reason why the discount was not triggering. This did work although they charged me 50p more than we had worked it out to be but as I was getting free delivery I did not complain.
I have now sat and got the current Autumn winter catalogue out to discover that the items I have ordered are not that new and have been in this catalogue all along at vastly reduced prices anyway. I have paid £153 for the dressing table out of the new catalogue with discount off when it is in the current catalogue at £150:eek: The stool has also gone up £10 but I have got a cheaper price with the 15% off.
Feel really ripped off though as thought I was getting a real bargain. Will be phoning their customer services department in the morning to complain.
So word of warning- some things are discounted and some things have been increased in price so much that they aren't such a bargain after all.
