Glad it went well for you x
  • Thank you everyone :)
  • My BR interview is Wednesday at 11.30am and just reading that post made me feel a bit calmer. It's not the actual time at Court that I am worried about to be honest, it's the OR interview.

How flexible is the OR with the telephone interview date. I work 6 days out of seven and getting a specific day off is always a nightmare, and I certainly can't take the telephone interview at work.
  • Hi chuckie1998 and welcome

I think you'll find that so long as you explain your situation and are as flexible as you can be, the OR will be understanding.

I've made a point of providing everything they ask for asap to try and keep them :D lol
  • I can relate you your feelings, I am very nervous about the OR interview tomorrow, but can't wait for it to be done, then the rest of my life can start.

By the way, I don't know about others, but I have not hidden my bankruptcy from friends/family/etc. I have always been a very upfront person, and take the attitude that being honest and frank may just help someone else who is in the position which I found myself in. If I can prevent just one person going through the hell I have been through, its worth a bit of egg on my face

  • have a hug. we're at the start of getting sorted out, hoping to go for a IVA but BR still in the background.

just wanted to tell you we opened a joint co op account in branch last week, it took just 4 working days for my husbands card to come through, still waiting for mine&pin no's but we have a new bank account no. now. the staff in branch told us they like you to make a appointment by phone as a rule but because we arrived when they were quiet and had photo ID with us they did it there and then. we found them friendly,it was painless, no questions except,"have you got ID with you?"

you're moving forward, what a good place to be!

I agree with you. I've been completely open with my close friends and family.

I was thinking about this only the other day. I have a set of friends who I haven't told about it. I went to what people percieve as quite a posh school and whilst I'm sure that my friends couldn't care less, there just seems to be something stopping me from telling them! Fear of failure maybe. It's silly though because I don't feel it's a failure to be bankrupt!
