Hi, does anyone have any suggestions as to a good place in spain to take our 3 kids - there is my husband and i, kids aged 12.10 and 6 and looking for all inclusive flying from any scottish airport. Have never been to spain before and no clue where to start. Prices i have been quoted so far are £2100 all in for one week. Ideally want somewhere that is not too big/busy but family orientated. Looking to go in april 2011.
Any advice would be much appreciated. Many thanks in advance

As a family we enjoyed Salou.
Portaventura theme park is brilliant.0 -
I would echo the above. Salou is great for families. But it might be a bit busy for you. You could possibly try Lanzarote & get yourself a good family orientated All Inclusive hotel. We're staying at the H10 Lanzarote Gardens in December, & it has great reviews from the family market.COMP WINS FOR HUBBY & I SINCE SEPTEMBER:2 £50 DOMINOS VOUCHERS, 13 PAIRS OF FOOTBALL TICKETS, MICROSOFT HOME EDTN, 2 PAIRS OF ALTON TOWERS TICKETS, 1 CASE OF PERCY PIGS, 1 PAIR OF LEATHER LADIES GLOVES, 4 COLLECTION 2000 PRODUCTS, PLAYSTATION 3 WITH FIFA 12, 5* HOTEL STAY IN LONDON, SEASON 6 OF SUPERNATURAL DVD, PERFECT PIZZA VOUCHER0

I'd recommend Salou/Portaventura too. Salou is quite a lively resort but is family friendly. However if you’re looking for something a little quieter, Cambrilles is a lovely little Resort just a bus ride away from Salou and Portaventura.0

You will love Costa Teguise, we had a fortnight there over summer, superb.0 -
Salou isn't going to be warm enough for a beach/swimming holiday in April. Better to go to the south of Spain or the Canaries at that time of year.0

Cambrills next town on from the busy commercialised Salou.A train journey from Barcelona and a bus journey to Port Adventure0

Many thanks for your replies, which are most helpful and have given me some direction to go in.0

I would recommend the Fiesta Palm Beach Club in Ibiza and the Marina Skorpios/Corfu Hotel in Majorca. We've stayed at both of these on an all inclusive basis as a family and we've all enjoyed it. The entertainers keep the kids entertained for hours!
I have to agree with an earlier comment above though that i'm not sure how warm spain will be in April. Canaries will be hotter but also more expensive.0
