Please could you give some advice about cleaning very delicate lego models? My youngest son has some very big Star Wars lego that under no circumstances can be dismantled. It was his project last year when he was unwell for 6 months. Its full of dust and so fragile. My DS has asthma so it needs to be cleaned. Thank youx

You could try a can of compressed air for dusting keyboards with? Good for delicate things x

sockdrawer - I use this recipe as a base, but I just chuck in whatever I can find. I weigh the main bits but don't bother weighing the fruit/seeds etc, I just keep putting it in til it looks nice :Dhttp://www.annabelkarmel.com/recipes/children-age-4-10/snack-food-oat-bars I always make double too so they last longer with less effort for me!

Today I've been to the doctor about my dizziness as it was still bad this morning. I saw a trainee, which is fine (everyone has to learn somehow!) but oh my goodness was she terrible. I was in the room for half an hour having all sorts of tests, blood pressure, urine test, temperature, listened to my chest (although she had it over my bra strap at the back lol), felt the baby, listened to the baby etc etc. And then she concluded that I just need to ask for more help from friends and family as I'm obviously not coping. This is the best pregnancy I've had, apart from the dizziness, and I thought I was doing really well! The whole thing was a disaster, she put the wrong blood pressure thing on me (it was broken) and then spent 5mins putting a different one on my arm, she dropped the pot of urine tests 5 times while she was trying to look at the colours on it, was concerned that I wasn't feeling the baby enough (it never stops, and was quite obviously whacking her hand when she felt my tummy).

I was in there so long I then had to run to DS school to get there in time for his assembly!

DD and I have just had ham & cheese pancakes for lunch and I think she's about to fall asleep on the sofa... think I might join her for a nap and then tackle the list later.

Hope everyone is having a good day xxxx

    Feel better soon mummyyof5

jenagain I saw a trainee when I was pregnant once, it was at the weekend at a clinic as I had a water infection and he was great, felt my tummy, listened to the baby, checked my urine etc and gave me a script for some anti-biotics. Wasn't until I got back home, anti-biotics in hand, read the label and it said not to be used in pregnancy! :wall:

I need a plan as I'm still sitting on my bottom - ham sandwich, feed baby, tackle bedroom...

    Ready with the mules ladies?

    Afternoon all

I did the bathroom/toilet yesterday and I've done all the bedrooms today. I've been doing a load of washing every day, can't seem to dry it outside so I'm just plodding through it. I have put a couple of bits out on the line but we've been forecast showers this afternoon.

Hope everyone's OK, not caught up properly yet but I keep reading and then forgetting to post.

Just having a quick time-out for lunch; doing stuff in 10-minute chunks today.

Mummyyof5 feel better soon - hopefully it'll be one of these things that comes and goes swiftly, and you'll be back on your feet quickly.

Boddy in case I don't get to post tomorrow or at the weekend, my very best wishes for Monday.

Castri (((HUGS))) and my hopes that the dear lady isn't in a lot of discomfort.

I'm trying to get today's and tomorrow's lists done, although tbh the spare room is pretty much going to be impossible to do for the forseeable future. I'll just have to clean what I can get to, and that'll have to do.

Right, on we go with the next 10-minute chunk..... dust a few dragons. Molly, you may like to know that I use the paintbrush + air duster method with most of my dragons, so hopefully it's working OK with your lego structure.;)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

I've spent the morning sorting laundry & doing online stuff so I guess I best shift myself and get some other jobs done. DD has asked that I leave the vacuuming until she comes home so she can do it and I just can't bring myself to upset her ;)

BTW I'm not subbing any jobs in for ones that don't apply because I will be decorating this weekend and I think that will add up to more than whats on any to-do list as I've got a whole house to decorate by 1st December

I'm off to do a HHC catch you later ;)
