Laptop screws

For some unknown reason my daughter has 9 screws missing from the base of her laptop. They are tiny, tiny little black things, does anyone know where I can buy these?

Thanks.

Having taken a couple apart recently, I have a feeling that quite a few laptops are sold with (or end up with :p) a few screws missing :D

Try eBay ... I've seen laptop screw kits on there ... with a bit of selective searching it is quite amazing what you can find on there to keep laptops going ... I even found a new DC jack for a friend who had been told that his could not be repaired. I paid three quid including P&P for the socket on eBay and with a bit of careful dismantling soldering and reassembly resurrected it for him ... eBay has its good points :T

NB Perhaps goes without saying ... but be careful you don't force any new screws you obtain ... many of them screw into or through the motherboard so they need to be the right length and thread ... better no screw sometimes than the wrong one ... ;)
