Banks with FREE overdraft

Having dipped for the first time into my A&L overdraft I am shocked that I have been charged for the priviledge  I know I should have checked the T&Cs but too late now...
I have a current account with Nationwide who offer a free overdraft :T but I need another current account as well. Who do you bank with and do they charge you for your overdraft?

£5 p.m. charge? I hadn't spotted that one either until I just checked.
Halifax just charge you interest on the balance, no other fees for an authorised overdraft.
<edit: that's the high interest current account: you need £1K p.m. to fund that. Better double check on the others.>Debbie0 -
All banks, including A&L, offer accounts with free (fee-free) authorised overdrafts. What exactly account do you have with A&L? You can try just to upgrade it ...0
