Looking for cheap tickets for Wicked in Jan

Options
Me and my friend are going to London in Jan for my birthday, looking for the cheapest possible price for 2 tickets for Jan 28th for Wicked.

Any ideas anyone please?

  • Hi!

There are some really good cheap seats for Wicked to the sides of the theatre that mean you may miss a few entrances/exits but you get to see it for a bargain price...

eg. I sat in seat L45 and it was brilliant!! And it is only £25!! L 44 and 45 are £25 - wouldn't go any higher in seating as that gets to the extreme side... Or there are other seats going lower in number (higher in price) until you get to £65!

Depends on what price you want to pay and where you want to sit..! There are few offers on Wicked as it books up!

You can get student tickets - with ID, one ticket per ID - on the day at the box office (open from 10am) - best available seat £27.50. Stalls Front Row sold on the day also for £27.50

I'd go for where I've sat before - great price, missed very little and enjoyed the show!

Hope you have a great evening when you go.
  • Thanks for that Critchy, never thought about student discount. I am a student, but my friend is not. Does it have to be an NUS card, cause i don't have one of them, no where up here requires them, only my normal uni matric card. Can i book them in advance with my student card?
Cause at the moment we are looking to get the bus down at 11pm on the 27th, arriving about about 7am on the 28th, and hopefully going to see it that night. So i don't want to take any chances, and there be none left on the day, or only have really bad seats left.

Wicked is one of the few London shows that hardly ever reduces it's prices. However, if you can wait until Dec 7th before booking, you will find that it comes up cheaply in the annual 'Get Into London Theatre' promotion. Best seats for Wicked were £35 when this offer was last run - an exceptional bargain. There is usually a long list of shows available, so anyone wanting Jan/Feb tickets to West End shows in 2011 would be advised to check on Dec 7th.

Over 45 shows have already agreed to take part, including
    Wicked
    We Will Rock You
    Legally Blonde
    The Snowman
    The Woman in Black
    Thriller Live
