I've had to send them an email with proof of them being £1.41. You'd seriously think they'd be able to see that. Anyway they haven't gotten back to me yet.

I've got to say this experience has really put me off shopping with tesco. They seem like such a shoddy company, do they actually know what there doing??

What frustrates me is ok - yes we knew they shouldn't have been £1.41 but they're a massive company if they can't get silly little things like updating prices right then its their fault! Also they sent me an order confirmation email stating the price as £1.41 - they think they can just change the price and we'll go "oh ok that's fine!", they have the confirmation order email plus a screen shot - how difficult is that? The cans are still in my porch in the bags - not unpacking them till Tesco sort it out. And they must know they're at fault as they didn't query the Go Ahead Bars they just refunded the difference.

i accepted delivery then loaded it into the car and went back to the local store.they said well you have to ring tesco.com. I said oh well im here now so you can sort it out. The young trout then went out the back with my screen print and rang tesco.com for me. She returned later saying theyve credited £25.92 back to my card. Ive checked my email confirmation and they have credited me the £25.92. So im more than happy.....(i didnt have the cheek to ask for dtd)

so all in all ive paid for my coffee with free delivery and got 108 cans of drink and 18 x goahead bars all for free....what a result.

Well finally got mine sorted and am happy. Spoke to supervisor who apologised - apparently with pricing issues like this they have to refer them to the store and the store were not replying to the query so he sorted it for me. I explained the over charge ie charged £2.85/pack instead of £1.41 and he then commented that i'd been overcharged £1.71/pack (obviously maths isn't his strong point) so multiply that by 18 (i bought 18 packs) and they refunded me £30.78! so basically they took £29.94 off my card, i then got a refund for £13.26 (overcharge on Go Ahead Bars) and now a refund for £30.78 so Tesco have given me all my items plus £14.10! Will they ever learn?

well...

my first online experience with Tesco and been hassle after hassle...
phoned head office yesterday girl was nice on the phone, but... never called back...

checked my bank statement for the two orders...

debits:
£73.08 - (accepeted order from driver)
£47.92 - (rejected order from driver)

credits:
£60.50 - (is this suppose to be my refund?)
£13.93 - (rejected 7x pizza on order)
£5.85 - (refund on 6x sprites for £1.41) CS wouldn't give me price match on the rest

I had to take all this back to the store.
Which... was a full trolly full and she had to scan each one for a refund...

CS in store said that the dotcom should have sorted this out! and dealt with the pricing error...
it was a huge load for anyone to take back to the store... but the guy on the phone said, can't refund you more than 6x cans as system wouldn't allow it.
then... said I'll need to take them back, or be happy with them at £2.85...

I was then given my receipt and refunded £41.88?????? (this isn't anywhere on my bank statement?)




I think I might either send a email or write a letter of how they dealt with this with me.
personally.. I'll never use there online service again for food!

I'm still out of pocket at the moment... unless I get another refund tomorrow for the drinks I took back at £41.88... (maybe takes another day or two??)

my local express is only doing Sprite and Fanta, still happy to help relieve them of stocks of these though
