i know, i was just being vaguely amusing - i had a picture in my mind of some poor delivery chap lugging hundreds of these packs of cans in and out of his van all day tomorrow

...someone on hukd has said they had their tesco order delivered today and the website price was not honoured, just b1g2f, which is a very good deal anyway

  • Does any one know if the Go Ahead bars scan at 3 for £2? If not I feel another "John Freida" coming along

    10 x Dorito's & Dips, £2,000 Pre-Paid Visa card.
  • Just been to Sevenoaks Riverhead store. These were showing at £2-85. I queried the offer at customer services who told me it was only online. I asked them to check, they said they couldn't. So I took three through a checkout myself, and you've guessed it Buy 1 get 2 free. So grabbed a few more before going back to customer services to point it out.

Poor show when a customer has to tell a store whats on promotion!!

How bizarre! I've added 9 x packs of Lilt and 1 x tin Roses and the total is showing as £0.59 for the lot!

Tesco are normally very good at honouring glitches, certainly in my experience - if you're charged the full price and you find that Tesco won't honour it when you call CS, just send the order back to store.

May be a bit of a nuisance to some, but nothing ventured nothing gained I reckon!

I have two shopping orders coming tonight...
if I'm charged full prices? can I reject some on delivery? or would I need to phone CS then take them back myself for refund..

    also...
do they take payment soon as its delivered or before?

You are perfectly entitled to reject any of your shopping if you so wish, however, I would pursue it with CS - I always do and always get a refund!

Worst case scenario, you keep the goods, CS refuse to refund you and you then have to take back to the store for a refund - the decision is yours!

Hope you get on alright, let us know!

Forgot to answer this! You'll probably find that the money has already left your account as your delivery is coming today, but any refund will go back on your card and Tesco are pretty quick at doing this.

Also, make sure you have a screen shot just in case you need it!

I checked my bank just now online and seems to have gone.

I did screenshot my 2nd order but forgot to do my first :(

for refund I would need to phone CS right? if they said no they cannot refund it, I can just take them back into Tesco's CS desk and refund.. without quibbles?

I'll hopefully keep all the drinks, the pizza's was half price but they -£ some of my order so I guess it would be best to reject those? as they was nothing on my order... can I reject there and then and the money would go back onto my card?

Should I just accept all the order from delivery man?
    then phone them about it...

its all confusing... my first online order
