Hi
I recently bought a MBP which i love, but im struggling to fully use it as i have only used windows before so dont know the shortcuts like how to copy and paste with the keyboard, highlight words etc as well as the other system operations.
Iv looked at the offical apple guide but its so long and goes into too much details
Does anyone know of any resource that summarises the main tools?
thanks

Ah....
Really easy. Think of the CMD key as the CTRL key and the shortcuts are the same for Windows - C for copy, V for paste etc etc however there's Page up and Page Down which are CMD and arrow up and down.
To highlight words, you use a right click. Your touchpad is a multitouch. Tapping it with two fingers is the same as right click. Its really cool what you can do with them as, for example, you can start with two fingers in the middle and slide them in opposite directions to magnify and the opposite to shrink and in iPhoto you can start with two fingers seperated and rotate them to rotate a picture.
If you enable the keyboard viewer in the taskbar it gives you a little icon. Click on this icon and it brings up a small keyboard. If you hold down the option and CMD keys one at a time, you'll see what characters are available on each key - for example the # key is option 3 OTTOMH.

As above, pretty much all you need to know is to swap control with command (ie command + c = copy), Alt and 3 is hash # and the " and @ are swapped compared to UK PC keyboards.
Also, this one's getting a bit out of date now that the mice have 2 buttons and the trackpads can do two fingers, but holding control and clicking is a 'right click' equivalent.
Otherwise, remember to QUIT apps instead of just closing the window like you would in windows. Command + Q is the shortcut for that.0
