  • Thanks! i'm now the proud owner of 12 blocks of cheese for the grand total of £3.06.

Strange thing was a felt a little guilty not sharing such a great offer, so i told a lady who was eyeing up some cathedral city, about the awesome price. Funnily enough she wasn't interested, as she only wanted 200g blocks for £2 each.

mine was purchased at a regular tesco, located in royston.

The shelves were empty, but i asked (twice actually) and they brought out a new box both times.

I went in to try this out in my local and I can also confirm a big gap where the Cathedral City should have been, so yeah looks like they were all over this glitch 'like a tramp on chips'. Shame, thanks for posting OP, and don't be put off by the doubters! ;)

Isn't it funny when people are like that?! I told someone in Sainsbury's about the £1.87 10 x Coke offer as she was picking up a 6 pack for £2-something, and she just shrugged and got the 6 packs anyway:eek:

It happens all the time. I even tell people about bogofs and they say "I only need one!"
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

Some folk have too much money!

The big blocks of extra mature cathedral are £2 in morrisons at the moment.

There are some times when I only need one - for instance, butter whilst on self-catering holiday in St Ives. That time, I approached an elderly gentlemen in the shop and said 'this is BOGOF. If I get two, would you like to take one of them as I only need one'. He waited for me outside the store - a small Somerfield.
