i brought ds 2 his school shoes in august ready for the new school year, this morning vie found he has literally gone through the sole, its worn down that quickly they have had 2 months of use !

My kids have very wide feet, and the clarks velcro wouldn't even reach the other side of the shoes when they were trying them on!
  • The velcro on my sons clarks shoes started to come unstitched after about 6 months of wear at school. I returned them to the shop and they said as long as his feet measured the same size they would replace them. Which they did! Think you should try another branch of Clarks or get in touch with Head Office (perhaps ask for the details in store if you are not getting anywhere - that sometimes works!)

At 30 ish pounds per pair I would expect them to last at least 6 months!

Yes those toys are annoying but worse are the flashing lights, drives me mad in school. I can understand they might be useful when walking in the dark but can't they be turned off indoors:mad:

Do you remember the trainers that played a tune when you waved a wand over the sensor? my daughters went funny, and wouldn't stop playing, we had to hit it with a hammer.!
  • i wish id never got the toy shoes they do seem the worst for wear clarks wise, tbh im very very annoyed at the short time they have lasted

but have found a bank statement with a £30 pounds payment with clarks orpington so much be his shoes, will now go down tomorrow (5 mins from my house) to see what they will do

Clarks shoes are now nearly all made in China by the same factories that churn out cheapy shoes for the £10 shops and the quality is nearly the same. I will never set foot in a Clarks shop unless it is the final reductions on a sale !

We only get kids shoes from the Clarks outlet, they range from £8 to £18 for leather school shoes.

Not had problems with the toy ones they seem to last as long as the others.

I agree that the quality has gone down over the years.
