Out of interest, has anyone actually won a free gift from PCW at https://www.15million!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!/ other that the £5 voucher ? It says the gifts include an Apple nano, 40" TV and a Toshiba tablet.
There is no indication on the website that PCW will advise via a public announcement of who, if anyone, has won these products.
I don't wish to caste any doubts on PCW's integrity; after all it is a very reliable company (er no !).....but ?
I think the T&Cs say that you can send request a list of names and counties of prize winners after the 17th Jan.0 -
Hi all,
Just had a look at the promotional T&Cs at https://www.15million!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!/terms. It states :
'3. WHAT’S AVAILABLE
3.1 The following electrical products: 250 x iPod Shuffle (2GB), 250 x iPod Nano (8GB), 500 x X Factor Lucky Voice Party Box, 200 x Toshiba Folio 100 Tablet, 50 x Sony PRS650 e-reader, 250 x Panasonic Lumix DMC-FD2 compact digital camera, 500 x Sandstrom S7DPF10 7” digital photo frame, 50 x Sandstrom S40LDIB1O 40” HDTV, 250 x Nintendo DSi XL game console.
3.2 250 x £100 and 50 x £1,000 cheques.
3.3 2,997,400 x £5 Currys/PC World vouchers.'
This means that you have less than a 0.09% chance of winning something other than a £5 voucher.
Be quick though....there are only 2,997,400 vouchers available to print.:)0 -

what do Curry get for their £5
1. It doesn't cost them anything like £5. It only costs them the price of what they bought it for ..and admininstration etc.
2. They get people into the stores
3. People are going to read their catalogue
as to get the number you have to get the catalogue in your hands.
4. They get to harvest a big database of names , addresses and telephone numbers for free. They have you type it in for them cos you have to enter them on the webpage to claim your prize "for free"
5. They don't have to reprice all that small stuff on their shelves on the 1st of January when the VAT goes up if they can rid of it in this offer.
and 6. they are really kind people (probably)0 -
