Negative Seller Dashboard Rating - Eeeek!

OK. So I sold a stop smoking aid which was close to it's sell by date. I clearly stated this in the listing in big fonts. It was obvious as the starting price was low too (all other sellers had it up for about £15, mine was £5). Silly woman bought the item, and I emailed her after she made payment saying it said in the listing that it was close to it's sell by date, so be sure to use it soon.

She leaves positive feedback with a bitc*y comment saying "You could have said it was almost out of date". She also left me a 0 or a 1 for communication on the dashboard thing. She is the only one that has left me feedback in a week and it was obvious she had left me the low rating as I had a 0 before and now it's a 1!

Now all my other items are at the bottom of listing searches anod nothing is selling because of the poor visibility.

Is there anything I can do? I clearly noted in the listing that it was close to its sell by date.

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do, a 1 or 2 star though is OK on its own as long as you don't get anymore.

Some buyers do not read listing for common items. They see picture, title, price and bid.

I always try to highlight any serious issue in title as the real advantage of doing this is any similar buyer feedback will look stupid as the title of the listing will appear next to their feedback. Does not help with low star ratings though.

Sorry I have no recommendations for getting higher up search lists but will be interested to hear any.
