Shower and combi boiler

Hi,
Over the last two days I have noticed that the pressure to our shower has decreased and the pressure on the boiler. I was wondering if the two are related. I have a Greenstar 28i junior.
I am unsure of what the pressure gauge should be at. It currently resides at just below 1 when off. I thought it was more than this a few days ago.

I know there is something I can do with the two white plastic elements beneath the boiler but need detailed instructions. Something needs turned to let water into the system to increase pressure. Can you help?

Many thanks. This could save me quite a bit of money from not getting a gas person out.

Your pressure has dropped ! not sure with your specific boiler but ones ive had in the past have a fill loop on them, this allows you to repressurise the system back to something like 2 bar.You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0

I have a Greenstar 28i, and the pressure should be 1.5. Underneath the boiler I have a filling loop connected to 2 pipes from the boiler. On each of these pipes there's a screw, and the left hand side one I have to unscrew it slightly (about a half turn) to repressurise the the boiler. When the dial gets to 1.5 then you turn the screw back to the original position. When the pressure dropped on mine, it was a small leak on one of the radiators. If it keeps losing pressure, you need to get it checked out. HTH.0

Pressure to your shower has nothing to do with the system pressure as shown by your boiler pressure gauge.0

Found a video showing me how to do it after much research after you recommendations. Thanks!!!
Here it is for anyone else...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Ea7czrQmsY0 -
Glad you got it sorted...thanks for letting us know...:T0

No - OP hasn't got it sorted. The DHW circuit which feeds the shower is totally independent of the CH circuit which is pressurised as has been described. Whilst CH may be repressurised that wont affect the shower.Glad you got it sorted...thanks for letting us know...:T
Have the water board been working lately? Do you know what your mains pressure and flow rate are?

At a guess I can only think the combi is scaled up on the hw side, this restricting the water flow.
One thought, have you de-scaled your shower head recently?0 -
I repressurised the system and later that day my shower gots it power back. I will never be certain that the two were related. I'm just glad it is back to normal and that I now know how to refill the system to save me money. Thanks everyone.0
