Car Insurance Renewal

Hi,
Probably a silly question, but here goes...
I've received my car insurance renewal from Aviva, and I've decided to shop around this year, instead of just renewing and paying over £300.
On the comparison quote sites they always ask if you had any claims. A couple of years ago, I damaged a parked car, and they claimed off my insurance. However, I didn't bother claiming as the damage was minimal. Do I need to disclose this, or do I just say that I haven't made any claims?
Also, on the Aviva website, it says I have 5 years No Claims Discount, yet it also says I have one claim in the past 4 years. Huh?
Thanks,
marlasinger

You've had a claim. The insurer paid out for the damage you caused.
No claim discount protection? Also, on the Aviva website, it says I have 5 years No Claims Discount, yet it also says I have one claim in the past 4 years. Huh?0 -
I'll think you'll find it asks if you'va had any claims or accidents in the past x years. You've had an accident, and actually there's a claim been made against you so that does count as a claim.0

Hi - thanks for the replies; it looks like I have to disclose it as it was a claim.
Yes, just checked my documents - I have NCD protection.
Thanks,marlasinger0
