I haven't had any probs since using thunderbird instead of express - no idea why

I used to have to manually set the (correct) default settings before I got my mail - really annoying

Chances are it's the smtp setting - I've seen in some documentation that this should be set to mail.talktalk.net, but this doesn't work, it needs to be smtp.talktalk.net

  • I applied for free broadband via the internet and was informed that free broadband is not available from my telephone exchange but I could have broadband for an extra £10 per month. Anyone else had this response and if so, why?
