How being a student would affect my benefits

I was wondering if anyone could help me please?

At the moment i am on ESA and recieve CT and HB, waiting to hear back about DLA.
I was thinking of applying for a part time distance learning foundation degree and wanted to know how/if this would affect my benefits?
Meant to add, i am due my first (and last!) baby in June and will be a lone parent over 21.

or if i somehow managed to save for each semester would this still affect my benefits?
I would love to apply for the course but wouldnt if it would leave me worse off :(

Studying part time won't affect your benefits at all and you will be eligible for a grant for your fees as you're on a low income.

I'm not sure what you're asking about saving for each semester.
