Virgin's new deal

Gutted - I just signed up to Virgin Media's bundle for TV, phone and internet 2 weeks ago - got free installation but that's all. Now noticing they're doing free installation, £50 credit and 6 months half price - could have saved over £100! Anyone any ideas how I could still take advantage of this? I think I have a cooling off period so thinking of cancelling and re-applying.

Thanks

No luck - they're saying there's nothing they can do - I could cancel but then have to wait 30 days to reapply at which point the offer might be gone again, just gonna have to grin and bear it I think. £100 is a lot of money to me!

A lot of companies,Sky/VM ect do that to stop new customers doing what you tried to do.

Then cancel, go for brinkmanship, who knows what you may be offered?? you get 28 days to cancel with Virgin and I cant believe they wont do everything they can to retain you.

But work out worst case scenario and price your hours of hassle in to it. If £100 is a lot then missing a bit of premium channels for 30days may not be an issue, and you will get a warm glow if you do get offered a deal at the brink.
