Most of the major manufacturers latest TV panels have similar specs. My 'must haves' are:
Freeview HD
IPTV via Wireless and Ethernet port (including BBC iPlayer, Youtube & Demand Five at least)
100Hz or greater
4 x HDMI ports
DLNA (for streaming media from Windows Home PCs or servers)
The Samsungs quoted refresh rate of '50 x 6' is suspicious. I'd say it was a 50Hz TV (which is fine, although 100Hz or greater is better for fast moving sports etc.). Also, the Samsung IPTV package does not seem to have Demand Five, although it does have iPlayer.
Probably more expensive, but here is an alternative thin panel suitable for wall mounting:

As the Youview spec includes a Freeview HD Hard Disk PVR then you won't get it (at least initially) built directly into TV's. It'll be a seperate box.
I'll certainly be getting one, mainly for the HD PVR, but also for the additional IPTV content that will be available above that built into the TV (e.g. ITV Player & 4od). But Youview is no reason not to buy a new TV now.
Incidentally this is why you should have 4 x HDMI sockets on a main TV:
1 for an HD PVR
1 for a Blu-Ray Player
1 for an HD Games Console
1 for temporary peripherals such as attaching a laptop0 -
I have a Samsung LE40C650 which has internet@TV, in fact it did an update last night and now has a load of yahoo widgets, not much use though.
The iplayer works quite well but the app needs updating so the volume control properly.
PS It may be an obvious remark, but you have to connect the TV to your router for the feature to work. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
I got an internet tv. now I need a 50 metre cable to connect it to my router so I can set it up.0

You could try using a USB wireless adapter, assuming your TV will interface with one, or a couple of homeplugs.
Cable cheaper of course but a pain to install. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -

You guys got me looking for alternatives and there is always something better and usually more expensive. I think I might go for this one>

Thanks for the heads up, I use home plugs to link my existing gadgets (DVD & X Box) so I would simply add another plug. Now I am thinking of the Sony which comes with WiFi installed."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Are you sure its not just wireless ready (like the samsung), and requires an adapter.

Why 100Hz?. TV broadcasts in 50Hz (100Hz would require pairing-up 2 channels and keeping them perfectly in sync). All you see is the same frame displayed 2 times.Never Knowingly Understood.
