Dermacton - thanks for recommendation

Just wanted to say a huge thanks to all of you who recommended Dermacton quite a while back. I was coming to the end of another Malseb bottle and decided to give the shampoo bar and cream a try. Haven't used much of the cream as fortunately my dog is not in the middle of any bad flare ups from the demodex mites at the mo :jWe have used the shampoo bar on him 3 times and it is absolutely brilliant. His coat is much healthier, he smells so much nicer:D and his skin in general is so much better. The cost of £9.50 may not sound very money saving but this bar will last for ages and it lathers up like you wouldn't believe.
So again just wanted to say thanks so much to everyone who had tried this product and recommended it :T

So pleased to hear you have had good results. I always feel a bit guilty when I bring it up on here - Im sure some people must think I work for them! But it gave such relief to our boy and to us. As Ive said before, it isnt a cure but it makes the condition manageable. For some reason Diggs has had a bit of a flare up on his chest, poor little devil but the shampoo relieves it immediately for him and I have bathed him every couple of days this week. It makes such a big difference for him and its easy to forget how bad he was with bald patches and hairless legs and tummy before we found out about this stuff.
My cousin who I recommended it to is over the moon with his dog's results. Previously Chief had been wearing a lampshade all the time and taking steroids and the vet said thats all he could do. Peter got some shampoo when I urged him to - took him a bit of while as he doesnt believe in alternative stuff - and within a day the dog had stopped constant chewing and the lampshade was off
Glad it is helping him xxx0 -
Hethmar glad the shampoo helps your Diggs it's so horrible when they get a flare up and great news about your cousin's dog. I remember you recommending it now and can't thank you enough I read my post back and thought I sounded like a spammer as I was singing it's praises so much lol It really is fantastic stuff I can't believe the difference it has made thanks so much

Have a look on their website (which is a bit posh now
)

and some photos:

I found out about it from Many Tears, the welsh rescue. They get a lot of westies who have terrible skin probs (puppy farm rejects) and had trialled lots of stuff, but this stuff they were so pleased with they allowed the company to use photos of the dogs treated. Other rescues are also using it and I think some of those have now put photos on the site too.
Our very sceptical vet said I may aswell put the money down the drain when I said I was ordering some. A year later he was asking why I hadnt been in for the steroids he had prescribed

Sadly didn't work for our dog. We were prescribed Aludex as well for him which is the most awful wash that you have to mix up outside and smells like paintstripper
and that didn;t work either. He is now on antiobiotics for life poor little thing

What a shame Deb.
At least they do give you 100% money back guarantee.
Oh, rereading that, I dont think you meant dermacton? Give it a go Deb, nothing to lose and it may just work.0 -
