eBay/someone else signed for package

Hi, yes I did pay with PayPal. I opened a case on eBay and seller responded by saying they would refund but my status on PayPal was placed? Do I just wait for this or contact PayPal myself?

Just to add.. phoned PayPal who then told me to go to Ebay. Ebay basically said they couldn't unlock the money in the seller's account because of this case and I would have to wait until next week to escalate. Now seller is offering a cheque and claiming that he's been told to send a cheque instead?

Next step he asks you to cancel the dispute to enable the cheque to be issued. You cancel, cheque never arrives, time runs out. No more claim.

Certainly was the general standard when I was active on the eBay forums.

Agree completley. Do NOT accept this cheque. You know the guy can't be trusted as he sold fake goods in the first place.
