OU PC grant - do we have to buy in a store or can it be online new?

Hi guys
Posting to help my oh..we are trying to sort his laptop for course out. He got his grant, we just got to sort it and send them a copy of receipt.
Assumed it had to be in a actual shop..but could we order from asda online or somewhere like that?? Dont want them demanding the money back!! :rotfl:
Gonna give em a bell in the morning but thought someone probably would know!!
