hello, i have connected my laptop to my tv using the 15 pin port at the tv and the laptop,to watch iplayer, what do i have to do to get the laptop picture onto the tv screen ?

Try the Fn key plus F80

Normally you have to press the Function key and one of the F keys at the same time. It depends on the laptop as to which one it is. On my dell it´s F8, on a Toshiba I used to have it was F5. My dell has the words crt/lcd on the key, others have a screen. If you´re not sure which one it is, hold down the Function key and then press each F key in turn0

Have you also selected the input source on the TV to "PC/VGA"? Sometimes the TV doesn't automatically switch to this mode if other devices are also connected.0
