Just a run of the mill person who has had to deal with OH's redundancy twice in 3 years after the administrators were called in and just lost money as a sub contractor to ROK so may be a bit naive here, but here goes anyway ..it's just a question
It seems to me that when any Company goes into administration a huge part of the Company assets go to fund the private administrators charges before anyone else gets anything.
Are these companies private?
Couldn't the Gov create their own Dept that dealt with this ?
Perhaps I am being a bit stupid but surely if Gov administrators who were paid a decent wage for their work were sent in, then the interests of everyone would be better served, time scales would decrease and those that had lost their jobs would not be treated so badly when left in limbo ?

Ah, but the government doesn't believe in paying civil servants to do things that the private sector does "so much better" and charges for! If you think it's bad now - just wait....0

The irony would be those civil servants adminstrating the administration of administration companies!
But whilst all these things are good ideas at the times costs will rise and at the end of the day they will be wanting to privatise it back again. The Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!
