Hi.. I need help.
I have currently a central heating system running 11 radiators. We ahve 2 seperate boilres.. one for the hot water and one for the heating system. Ideally I would like to combine these to one boiler.. they are in my sons room and it is small enough as it is. Both boilers are 10-15 years old and totally inefficient.
1. We use LOADS of hot water.
2. We use LOADS of gas to run these 2 boilers, which ultimately is costing me a small fortune.
3. 'I' would like to change them to electric boiler is possible.. as they are in a bedroom the electric ones are quieter.. plus the gas will run out but electric can always be generated one way or another.. my theory!
4. We want to pay as little as possible (don't we all)
Can anyone give any advice on what I should be looking for?
What type of boiler?
What kind of requirements are suitable for such a large system?
Will we need anything else like thermostatic valves fitting? (whatever they are? lol)
Anything obvious that I don't know about because I am so un-knowledgeable about these things!
Thank you!!!!!!!!

I think that if you go to all electric, it wont cost you a small fortune.
It will cost you a large fortune.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0 -
The question is, will gas run out during the lifetime of your new boiler?0
