Problems with latest XP update

After the most recent windows updates and installation of IE7 my computer has quite literally ground to a halt. It takes ages for it to process anything. Thanks very much Microsoft.

I've had a problem with a program that no longer ran after the last updates....I had to change compatabilty mode to get it to run,changed it to Me compatabilityEx forum ambassador
