Help help help!

My friend purchased 4 Peter Kay tickets on 18 December 2009 for herself and her husband and for me and my husband to see him at CIA cardiff on 22 Nov 2010. We have tonight discovered that the company she purchased them from 'Worldwideticketstore.com' does not exist anymore. As you have probably already realised we haven't received our tickets and we are due to see him in just over two weeks. Anyone know how we can go about getting the money we paid back? total cost of four tickets and delivery of tickets was £224.95 - we are gutted please any help would be greatly appreciated. We've tried ringing the contact number on our booking confirmation but it says the number is not recognised Please Help someone.

How did you pay ? ...if by credit card I would be speaking to them about a chargeback.

Speak with Trading Standards and see if they know of other cases and they can advise you.

If the company was a fake/have done a runner - I wouldn't get very optimistic about seeing either the tickets or any cash. Sorry.

The company was a fake and disappeared around May.

If you paid by credit card you could try a Section 75 claim with your credit card company. Your problem will be that each item may be treated individually by the card company which would come to less than £100 each and thus not eligible for Section 75 claims but that is your best bet

    .

If what you mean is s.75, it would not apply as the tickets are not above £100 each..

You you actually mean a chargeback, then it will apply to debit cards too.

Op if it was any other method, find out who the administrator are and get yourself listed as an unsecured creditor, however expect to only see pence to the pound if any at all.
