Fuel Card and Private Car

Hello,

I have looked around the forums and cant really get a answer to my question that I have.

I have a private car that I will be using for a new store location away from my current store location, the company are giving me a Fuel Card to pay my fuel costs, but how or what can I do about wear and tear on the car?

Thanks

  • You should speak to either the Fleet Manager of your company or the person who issued the fuel card to you to find out what your Company Car Policy says.

Are they allowing you to use the fuel card for private mileage perhaps in lieu of wear and tear (watch out for BIK on this though)
