wiring under pebble dash

We are having the gable end of our house pebble dashed, I would like to run a coaxial cable (for sky) and a couple of network cables to an upstairs bedroom.
Can I do this underneath the render? It's currently back to brick and will be over the weekend.
If so is there anything specific I would need to fix it to the brick with?

any reason the cable are outside the house? normally tv/network cable would be internal wiring...
if you are going to leave them outside i would be tempted to put the cables into some kind of conduit rather than rendering directly onto the cablesThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Just for simplicity really, it would be harder to channel and plaster all round the house to get a cable upstairs, where as it's a direct run outside.0

install a conduit pipe of some kind. then you can feed the wires in anytime you like.
ps
plastic pipe is very cheap. you could install 3 small diameter pipes.Get some gorm.0 -
But will the stuff (excuse my ignorance) that they use stick to plastic?0

think it will stick to anything (and usually does) but if that's your worry surely you wouldn't put the cables with their plastic coating there at all...This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Kinda why I am asking in the first place.

Dunno if that's the same but it suggests you would either A. See it, or B. It would crack the finish.
Suppose I should ask the builder who is doing it just looking for advice really.0 -
something like this would probably do it.

that question is different, you didn't ask if this was the best way to do it, which it isn't - you're doing it because it's the easiest way! as long as there is sufficient depth of render onto of it, it shouldn't crack - but it's down to the quality of workmanship, render can crack with nothing under it if done poorlyThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. Spoke to builder, decided it was a bad idea.0
