Can you explain this better? What software, from where?

When you say it is not printing, do you mean it is totally dead, or that it is going through the motions but no ink is appearing on the paper?

SSC utility printer thingy, and it goes thro the motions, just nothing appears, sometimes get a muddy line down one side of paper... tried cleaning re aligning etx. nothing works... if i have to buy another then i would like a all in one with wifi, cheap ink etx.. for under 60 quid ;-0

Ah yes, SSC utility. People on here recommend it, and it seems to work for some, but it also seems to have some serious problems.

It may be worth doing an online search for both user and service manuals (diplodocs has the former but not the latter) to see if there is a factory reset procedure for that model.

If not and you have to replace it, take a look at the Kodak range of inkjets, as they have a good reputation at the moment for low ink costs (though Canon and Epson are both pretty cheap now if you are happy to use "compatibles").
