I read the other post on here about yorkshire/clydesdale bank basic bank account and debit card so I went on to the clydesdale site the basic account is called cashmaster account but when I read what you get with it I doesn't say anything about a debit card could anyone tell me if this is the right card I am looking at thanks.

According to FSA leaflet (recently updated) Clydesdale Cashmaster accont does come with a debit card (Solo, Electron or Maestro).0

It will come with Maestro.
They don't issue single function cards now unless you specifically request one, and have never issued Solo or Electron.0 -
will the bank do a credit check to open the account because I have been refused credit cards and current accounts before.0
