Partnership Card from John Lewis

Anyone any idea if you get any vouchers/discounts, apart from the points for spending, with this card throughout the year or is it expected to be enough of an incentive to just have the card ?

Just wondered which is the better of the two - &MORE or Partnership?

Have had the Partnership card for 2years, and in that time have only received vouchers each qtr as a result of my spending, and no extra discounts as far as I recall

M&S would be better i think....looks cool as well...
    01. Marriott Rewards VISA (£2700 @ 17.9%)
    02. HSBC MasterCard (£2250 @ 14.9%)
    03. HALIFAX One MasterCard (£2200 @ 12.9%)
    04. Monument VISA (£1000 @ 19.9%)
    05. Aqua MasterCard (£500 @ 29.9%)
  • I've only ever received the vouchers as redemption of points, no other benefits. I'm going to try M&S card.

partnership card will be better if you do more shopping at JL/Waitrose compared to M&S, because with each you get 1% "vouchers back" for shopping at the home store compared to 0.5% elsewhere.

I suppose you could have both.

You can manage your partnership account online, but not, at the moment, your &more account.
  • It's one point per pound spent in John Lewis stores, Waitrose or Ocado which translates into one penny in JL vouchers. You get one point per £2 spent elsewhere. Vouchers are sent out in minimum denominations of £5 three times a year. THere are other offers occasionally. Oh, and you can get a free copy of the Waitrose Food magazine in store.

The reason I have my partnership card is that in our local Waitrose you can scan and pay without having to go near a cashier if you have one. It is such a time saving benefit.

I find this card brilliant and save the vouchers for school shoes as they stock Startrite and Clarks, I supplement the voucher with JL vouchers from Pigsback as well. You only have to get 1000 points as well instead of 1500 on most cards.

Their customer service is excellent too so I would always favour JL over More ( although we have the M&S superstore on our doorstep.)
