Don't know if I've won or not.

I was waiting for a couple of packages from my catalogue today and got a couple this morning which I presumed to be the DVDs I'd ordered for Xmas.
Opened them and found that they weren't from my catalogue but from "Future Publishing" in London. In one was an XBox 360 wireless controller for "Fable 111" game. And in the other a limited edition "Fable 111" game which is made to look like a big book.

So, I figure I may have won these but....there was no note in the packages saying so (the company's name was just on the envelope), there has been no winning e mail and I don't even remember going in for it...but I do enter a lot so may have just forgot.

I googled the phone number of the company but the woman there doesn't know...she said it may have been through a magazine. She said keep it.
Does this ever happen , whereas you just get things sent that you've won....without a note to say so? I presume it's from a competition, but have no way of knowing. Anyone remember this one?

it happens quite regularly....(empire are another one who sometimes just post you the prize with no note as well) congrats

Ah, thank you. My first win of something quite big (to me). Thanks to whoever posted the comp.
I'm new to comping...been doing it 6 weeks now and have had 2 books, muesli bars, a can of chocolate milk (!), a Cushelle koala (finally), a John Frieda hair dye and now this. It's stupid how excited I get. I'm still finding my way around here but want to say thank you to everyone. x

Yep happens all the time, infact it happened to me again yesterday.

I love those wins because it means you start to look forward to the postie turning up to see what goodies he might have for you.

I still don't remember entering it but, then again, I don't remember what I had for dinner yesterday either. I'm bipolar and my meds make me a little spaced out/zombie/scatty. :rotfl:
