Hi
Me and oh are planning on getting married in Paphos around 1st july 07 we are planning a civil cermony ( town hall) but a reception on a boat later on. but I have having trouble trying to accomate everyone in their choice of hotels/apartments can anyone recommend any nice hotels/apartments in Paphos does not matter what board it is (just trying to fit it in a budget that people wont choke at )
My first choice was rui cyprica bay - if we ( as a couple ) stay there I don't think anyone else will be joining us there and ideally I would like everyone to have a big family holiday in the same hotel if poss
thanks in advance xx

My Niece is there now getting hitched on the 19th, my brother and his wife + bridesmaids are staying in an apartment i rented for them off the net. My other brother decided to go later on so i rented another apartment in the same block for him, they did the flights sep, and i think have had a much better deal than the other guests who have booked packages. IF you wish i can forward you the tel, numbers for the rentals or i can find the internet site i found it on.

It's not in Paphos, but I recently stayed at the Capo Bay in Protaras. Lovely hotel, bb or hb. They actually do weddings within their grounds, which looked lovely. Whilst I was there, they had 2 weddings a day. There are apartments across the road, 'Pallini'. Guests staying there are able to use the Capo Bay facilities at a small charge, but I'm sure if they were part of the wedding party, they would waiver the charge.
Sorry it's not Paphos, but honestly, this hotel was gorgeous.
Argo holidays feature the Pallini apts, and pretty much everyone feature the Capo Bay.I am in the future you know...
...9 hours ahead to be exact !:D0 -
I've been to the Athena Beach Hotel in Paphos & it was excellent.
The same company also built the Athena Royal next door & that gets good reviews too. website http://www.cbh-cyprus.com/hotels.php
Have a look on http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk for reviews of where ever you decide.0 -

i went to my sisters wedding in may this year at mayfair appartments in paphos,
this hotel does a lot of weddings by the looks of things whilst i was there, they were very orginnised with there wedding planner (a guy or his wife) which both seemed very profesional.
they spend 5hrs with the bride/groom on the 2nd day of arrival and discuss the finer details, they have mini buses for the family/friends to goto the town hall.
all in all if you are set on paphos i think the mayfair is as good as any, its only about a 3* hotel but not everyone can afford a 4or5*,the food was what you expect from a 3*, not dissapointing the staff were helpfull.
the pool areas were good, theres 2 big pools, 1 toddlers pool and a indoor pool
only thing i culd say is its about a 10 min. walk to the sea, i say sea becasue theres only a small beach.
and finally theres a fantastic bar round the corner called the full moon bar, great staff and entertainment0 -
