I think having a friendly chat with your neighbour is a good idea. Perhaps you can come to some sort of arrangement where you both contribute? I'm sure it was never their intention to ruin the fence with their trampoline, they may even admit responsibility. Calm, reasonable, friendly discussion over a warm drink can do wonders. I have seen people get so irate even without discussing events and then take legal action against their neighbours for less and it just doesn't seem worth it to me! Hope you get it sorted, let us know :)

I used to have endless trouble with my fence waving and falling over in wind - until I had some good solid concrete posts put in. They're not pretty but they are so much stronger.

What i've done in the past when i use to have a couple of panels that seemed to blow out all the time was, at each side of the concrete post, in each panel, drill some holes, say one at the top, one at the bottom, and one in the middle. You want the hole about half inch or bigger. Now get some strong wire or thin rope and thread through the holes so you in effect tieing the adjacent panels together and also to the concrete posts.
Does that make sense, i know what i mean not sure i've explained it.
Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.
