Starting to sell on ebay. Selling CDs to get feedback?

I've never sold anything on ebay and seeing as I am very skint I thought I might start. I have one neutral feedback because I registered ages ago but never used it (too much temptation) so when I did finally bid on something and win my email address was out of date so I knew nothing about it and didn't realise til I next logged in several months later.

I thought I could maybe sell some CDs I don't really want to improve my feedback situation before trying to sell anything I'm too bothered about. I know CDs don't go for much but if I list them on one of the 10p listings days without and I don't care how little they go for do you think this will work?

I'm not going to be selling any high-value items anyway but I was thinking of making some soft toys and some jewellry and maybe handbags from recycled materials to sell and I don't want to put a lot of time and effort into anything only for it to not sell or go for a pitance because of my dodgy looking feedback.

Why not start a new account rather than let an old error haunt you?

Selling CD's is a good idea because they are genuine items, unlike e-books and if you don't care how much they go for you can't really loose.

You could also try selling any books you don't want.

I agree. It's not like your old profile has a lot of feedback.
You might as well set up a new one.
Be sure to get rid of your details (links to paypal etc) before closing it.

Remember, you won't be able to set up another account using the same e-mail address.
It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.

Can I do that? Surely I'd have to open a new paypal account too and I didn't think I could have more than one on the same debit card. I only have the one card. Should I open a new bank account to try and get a new debit card? I don't have any money but there is a tiny bit in my overdraught so I could take some out to start a new account. I'm not sure I could prove my address though. I'm a lodger so I don't appear on the tenancy agreement and the utility bills aren't in my name. Plus I have no income. Can I get another debit card without one? I'm currently taking an interupt from a postgrad (i.e. no student loan) course. I know I should get a job and I am going to try but I can only do part time because I have to resubmit some stuff for uni and I'll be rejoining my course in February. I think even if I find a job it is going to be hard to prove a steady income any time soon.

I just remembered. I might have a credit card on the same account. I took one out just to get £30 of Waterstone's vouchers and never used it. They sent me a new chip and pin one but I didn't bother to activate it. Plus it is a student barclaycard and my account has been transfered to a graduate account so I don't know what that means for the credit card. If it does still work could I use that to make a new paypal account without opening a new bank account which is something I'd rather do when I have some money to put in it?
