Blackberry Curve 8500 Contacts Sync Issue

Guys
I have an issue when sync my Blackberry Curve 8500 with my Windows 7 Contacts.
I sync'd them, updated my contacts on my windows 7 contacts including deleting some and re-sync'd. Good stuff. I come off and check my phone after disconnecting and its back to square one. No edited contacts, contacts I have deleted have re-appeared.
What am I doing wrong?
I have the tried the sync 2 ways, one ways every damn way
