Openning a vantage account with lloyds online

İ have managed to open an additional 2 classic accounts but cant seem to get them upgraded to vantage classic--my main account has had it applied ok--i thought you could have 3 accounts upgraded?--the only upgrade i seem to be able to get up is to silver advantage. What am i doing wrong?

I opened my third one online about a month ago - I'm sure three is still the limit.
EDIT: This page http://www.lloydstsb.com/current_accounts/vantage.asp says "Customers are limited to a total of 3 Vantage Accounts" under the "How to apply" tab.

From memory, the "upgrade to vantage" option doesn't appear for a couple of days. Sorry I can't remember exactly the process I went through, even if it was only 6 weeks ago. But the option is definitely there somewhere, if not straight away.

i thought i did the upgrade to vantage--but the accounts just show as classic,The main account is classic advantage and i did that at the same time.--The interest was paid for the main account on the normal due date but the monthly 'anniversary' of opening the accounts isnt until 18th--i just have my fingers crossed!

either phone them up or go into a branch and they should be able to add vantage for you no probs.

as for your 2nd post: as I understand it interest for vantage accounts is only ever paid at the end of the first banking day of the month- so the anniversary date is a red herring. It sounds as if vantage is not in place on the other account(s). I would contact them pronto to ask.

I think you need to click on "apply for new account" instead of "upgrade existing account". Within the apply for new account menu, there should be an option somewhere to upgrade your existing account. Hope that helps

i have studied each account and according to the script when i open 'upgrade option' i am already on the vantage account. The accounts just show as classic in the list of accounts --i will wait til the monthly 'versary and ring them when i dont get my interest! i have transacted a grand on them!

That is correct. I spent a few embarrassing minutes trying to upgrade the wife's Classic with her watching over my shoulder, with me saying " I know it is here somewhere because I've already done it. I remember it was somewhere stupid and illogical".
Sure enough, after I tried several stupid and illogical selections, 'Apply for new account' was the one which allowed the upgrade. As I recall you have scroll down a way to find it on that page.
The upgrade shows instantly on your accounts page, so it is easy enough to check that you have selected things correctly.
